Theravolt
uses the next-generation percussion massage gun technology to help its users
eliminate muscle pains and live a better and happier pain-free live. As the
name suggests, it utilises the principles of percussive therapy in its
operation. Percussive therapy is a form of therapy where the user utilises
continuous pulses and vibration generated by devices such as the Theravolt massage gun to
increase blood flow and decrease tension deep within the muscle tissue. In
fact, the efficacy of percussive massage therapy to provide pain relief from Delayed Onset Muscle
Soreness (DOMS),
improve flexibility
during warm-ups
and alleviate general
muscle pains
have been well documented in numerous scientific studies. Increased blood flow
to muscles triggered by the continuous pulses and vibrations helps increase the
intracellular availability of oxygen in the affected area, which naturally
accelerates our body’s natural repair and recovery processes. Every day, more
and more scientific studies are discovering more benefits associated with
percussive massage therapy.
- Alleviate muscle tensions and pains
- Faster muscle recovery
- Improves blood flow
- Improves general well being
- Enhanced range of motion and flexibility
- Better sleep quality
Theravolt
comes with 8 premium and easy to clean attachments so you can customise your
treatment to however you want it to be no matter which muscle you want to
target. ·

Pound – Suitable for massaging and the relaxation of major
muscle groups such as the back and waist.·
Fork – Suitable
for massaging the neck, spine, and Achilles’ tendon. Also suitable for deeper
penetration of medium muscle groups such as the forearms, calves, shoulders by
releasing tightness via multi point targeting.·
Bullet – Suitable for
deep tissue massage of the inner joints, acupoints, palms and soles of feet.
Suitable for a targeted release of tightness in a particular point on the body.·
Wedge – Suitable for
massaging slightly wider target muscle areas such as the feet, palms, shoulder,

Theravolt uses the basic principles
of deep tissue massages to increase blood circulation, relax muscle tissues and
relieve muscle pains and tensions. By using Theravolt, instead of having to
schedule a massage appointment whenever you are in need of a muscle relaxation
(which can be inconvenient and expensive), you can do this yourself. Even
better, as Theravolt comes in a premium carry bag, it is extremely portable and
you can get your much needed pain relief anywhere you like, at home or on the
go. This is why Theravolt can especially be a smart investment for those who
often suffer from muscle tightness and pains, whether it’s caused by exercise
or chronic conditions, and would like to seek a convenient solution to pain
relief without the hassle of booking frequent massage appointments.
Trying to understand what makes for
the best massage gun can be very overwhelming, especially with manufacturers
flaunting terms like RPM, amplitude, stall force, etc! We have broken down the
key things you should look for when looking for the perfect massage gun to buy.
1. Amplitude
– how far the massage head can travel from the gun. The
higher the amplitude, the deeper the massage will be. It also helps to make the
massage feel more like a massage rather than vibrations. However, bigger motors
are required to achieve this which means massage guns with extremely high
amplitudes can be loud and heavy. 2. Speed
– the number of times the motor rotates in one minute,
often measured in revolutions per minute (RPM). The higher the RPM, the faster
the massage head can strike your muscles in a minute, which results in a more
intense massage experience. Different target muscle areas will often require
different levels of massage speed, something slower and softer for sensitive
muscle areas, but something faster and more intense to get rid of tight knots.
Hence, aside from looking at speed alone, the range increments of the speed
level are also important to ensure you have complete control of the massage
intensity depending on the usage scenario. 3. Noise
– how loud the motor gets during operation, often
measured in decibels (dB). Loud motors can ruin your rest and recovery session,
but it also can disturb those around you. Please note that decibels are not
measured in a linear scale. For example, a 40dB motor is 10x louder than a 30dB
one, and a 70db motor is 1000 louder than a 40dB motor. A high-quality motor
should be able to both achieve a low decibel rating, whilst at the same time
maintain its ability to achieve higher speed and amplitude rating. Please note
however that it is normal for motors to get noisier due to wear and tear. 4. Design
– both aesthetic design and build material is often an
important factor in buying decision. Good quality and durable material of the
gun chassis is a must, but what is often overlooked is the material used on the
handle of the gun. A soft and anti-slip grip goes a long way in making sure the
device is easy and comfortable to use long term.5. Stall
force – the maximum amount of force that can be applied to the
massage head whilst using before the motor will stop running. A good massage
gun should have a high-torque motor which means when using in the recommended
way, it doesn’t stall and stop easily and disturb your treatment, especially
when you need to target tight deep muscles. Higher stall force limit often
requires bigger motor which can mean a noisier, heavier, and slower device. A
good massage gun should have a high stall force, yet can remain quiet, light,
and fast – indicating a better-quality motor. 6. Battery
life – a single charge of a good massage gun should last for at
least 3 hours of continuous use (which for an average user means days of use
before having to recharge).7. Warranty
– manufacturer’s warranty policy is an important gauge of how confident they
are in the quality of their products.
Ultimately, it’s important for you
to do your own research and we definitely welcome you to. However, at
Theravolt, we put in a lot of effort to make sure that we balance all the above
criteria to ensure we deliver the best possible combination of specification
that can deliver the best end-user experience as possible. Utilising the latest
